What makes you different than other DJ companies?

YOU! That's right, you are the reason we differentiate ourselves from our competition! We work with you throughout the entire planning process to make sure your wedding or event is all about what you have envisioned. Everything from helping you choose the songs that are meaningful to you and your guests, all the way to you deciding the timeline on your special day.

How long have you been a DJ Entertainment Company?

For over 39 years we have had the honor and privilege of serving our clients in the Northern Nevada and Lake Tahoe areas. With our staff's combined experience, we've hosted 1000's of weddings, company events, birthday parties, anniversaries, school events and much more! If you can think of a reason to have a DJ and music, we can make the make the entertainment exciting and memorable for you and your guests!

Will you help me plan my event?

We would love to be part of your event planning! To assist you, we provide you with an extensive, online planning tool that will help give you ideas about how to format your event and to allow you to pick the music of your choice.  We also review your event planning form with you prior to your event to make sure we completely understand your vision for your day.  Furthermore, we are very responsive when you do have questions or need help and we are available to meet with you if necessary.

Do you have a business license?

Yes...not only is it a legal requirement, many venues require us to provide our license prior to your event. In addition to our state license, we are also required to have business licenses in each county we conduct our DJ business. To give you peace of mind, we highly recommend that you ask your vendors for a copy of their licenses to insure they are a legitimate, honest and reputable business.

Do you carry liability insurance?

Yes, we absolutely have liability insurance to help mitigate any risks at your event. This is another requirement that many venues have for outside vendors, such as DJ companies, to be able to work on their properties. We also have the ability to list the venue as additional insured and can provide you proof of our insurance for additional peace of mind.

May we call your references?

References are a major part of the entertainment business. Please let us know if you would like a list of references to contact so you can validate our dedication at making your event a memorable and exciting time!

We are having our wedding ceremony and reception at two locations. Can you accommodate?

Definitely! We provide two different sound systems, one for the ceremony site and one for the reception location.

At the ceremony site we provide a lapel microphone for the officiant to allow your guests to hear your service. We can also provide additional microphones if you have readings or musicians playing during your service. Furthermore, our sound system allows us to play ceremony music 30 minutes prior to your service while your guests are arriving and it allows us to play your ceremony music if needed.

At the reception site we have a full set up to make your celebration fun! 

Do you use professional gear?

To insure reliable service and a quality presentation we provide the following equipment at receptions and events: 15 inch EV powered speakers that have superior quality sounds in the high, medium and low ranges; an Alienware laptop with thousands and thousands of songs for you to choose from; a Samsung tablet that gives you access to virtually any song you can imagine and works as our back-up system; a Numark mixer that creates a proper balance in sound and for your listening pleasure; professional lights for dancing;  a Sennheiser handheld, wireless microphone that can be used for toasts and speeches; and a facade to give a polished, professional appearance at your event.

What types of payments do you accept?

For your convenience, we accept all major credit cards, money orders, checks and cash.

Do you allow requests?

Since your event is customized for you, it is your choice whether you want us to take requests from your guests. We will read your crowd to make sure we are playing music that you and your guests will enjoy on the dance floor. We will also make sure we play music that is appropriate for your occasion.

Are there websites that show your clients' reviews?

Reading reviews is a very important step in picking a DJ company that is right for you.  We recommend visiting sites such as:

Facebook, Google, The Knot, WeddingWire and Yelp. 

Do you belong to any professional associations?

It's very important for us to be involved in Wedding and Entertainment associations. These associations teach us new trends and solutions, they provide us with networking opportunities and they share ideas that will ultimately help you with your event. We belong to several associations including: National Association for Catering & Events, Northern Nevada Bridal AssociationTahoe Engaged and Weddings of the WestPlease feel free to reach out to them for references about our DJ company.
